The Vancouver Whitecaps striker scored a Goal of the Year candidate to earn a dramatic 2-1 win over Chicago.

Blas Perez may be 35 years old, but the veteran striker showed those aging legs still have some magic left in them.

The Panamanian striker came off the bench to score his first two goals for the Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday — including a brilliant bicycle kick for the 89th-minute winner in a 2-1 triumph over the Chicago Fire.

Acquired in an offseason trade from FC Dallas, Perez had gone scoreless in eight appearances before Wednesday's clash at BC Place.
