The Roma midfielder earned a penalty for his side in the derby defeat to Lazio and is now set to miss big games against AC Milan and Juventus
Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman has been hit with a two-game ban after his dive in the derby defeat to Lazio.
The Dutchman jumped to the ground in the penalty area despite no contact being made by his opponent, resulting in a spot-kick that Daniele De Rossi duly slotted home.
Lazio would go on to win the game, however, with goals from Keita Balde Diao and Dusan Basta helping to secure a 3-1 win overall.
