An historic video replay was consulted to determine two goals in Spain's 2-0 win at the Stade de France
Video replay technology was used to great effect in Spain's 2-0 friendly win at France on Tuesday, as Antoine Griezmann had a goal correctly waved off for offside before Spain's second goal was allowed using the technology.
Just after half-time, Griezmann headed home from a Layvin Kurzawa assist to give France a 1-0 lead. After consulting with his video assistant, however, referee Felix Zwayer waved the goal off after replays showed Kurzawa had drifted behind the Spain defence.
