U.S. Men's National Team winger Tim Weah has been suspended two games and fined $3,000 after a red card in Thursday's loss to Panama in Copa América, per ESPN's Jeff Carlisle.

Weah was given a penalty in the 18th minute of Thursday's group stage match after striking Panama defender Roderick Miller in the head away from the ball. After officials reviewed the contract, they upgraded it to a red card, leaving the United States with 10 men on the field for the remainder of the match.

Weah will be out of Monday's group finale against Uruguay and will miss the first game of the knockout round if the United States advances.
