U.S. Soccer has announced that the U.S. men's national team will face Peru in a friendly on Oct. 16 in East Hartford, Conn.
The match is the final game to be confirmed in the team's fall "Kickoff Series," a set of six friendlies that will begin the team's journey towards World Cup 2022.
The U.S. will face Brazil and Mexico in September, Peru and Colombia in October, and then hit the road in November to take on England and Italy.
The USMNT has played six previous matches at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field, most recently defeating Ghana 2-1 in a 2017 friendly.
