The 18-year-old forward signed with the Bundesliga club and immediately made an impact for its U-19 side Saturday.
Schalke has announced the signing of U.S. youth international forward Haji Wright, who has inked a four-year deal with the Bundesliga side.
Wright, 18, is a product of the LA Galaxy academy and spent last season with the New York Cosmos of the NASL, where he saw very little action as he waited to sign with a European club upon turning 18.
The 6-foot-2 striker spent time on trial with Schalke in 2014, when he impressed the club.
