The goalkeeper, who played for the Houston Dynamo, Orlando City and D.C. United, is stepping away from soccer after a 10-year career.
Two-time MLS All-Star goalkeeper Tally Hall announced his retirement Friday, ending his 10-year professional career at age 31.
Hall, who signed with D.C. United in April but never made an appearance for the club, finishes his career ranked fifth in MLS history with 153 regular season matches played and fourth with 40 shutouts.
"Tally has been a tremendous presence in the locker room this year," United general manager Dave Kasper said in a news release.
