Thiago Silva has been hailed as one of the greatest players in Paris Saint-Germain history by the club’s president as he prepares to complete a transfer to Chelsea.
The Brazilian defender, who turns 36 next month, is set to bolster Frank Lampard’s back line after eight successful years at PSG.
He joined from AC Milan along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2012, going on to play more than 300 times for the club, winning countless domestic honours and reaching this year’s Champions League final.
