Western Sydney Wanderers have put an offer to Roy O'Donovan as it was revealed the Irish striker was departing the Newcastle Jets on Monday.
The Covert Agent can reveal the Wanderers are keen to replace Spanish centre-forward Oriol Riera with O'Donovan - who the Jets announced was leaving the Hunter Valley after failing to agree to terms.
But it's not only Markus Babbel's Wanderers keen on the 33-year-old with his former Liverpool teammate Robbie Fowler's Brisbane Roar also interested in O'Donovan leading their line next season, according to the Herald Sun.
