Stephane Bahoken scored the lone goal in Angers’ 1-0 victory over Monaco in Tuesday’s French Ligue 1 encounter at Stade Louis II.
The 26-year-old joined the Stade Raymond Kopa outfit in the summer as a free agent after agreeing to a four-year contract.
In his fifth appearance for the side, the former Nice attacker registered his second goal with a powerful strike to beat goalkeeper Diego Benaglio in the 27th minute.
The goal proved decisive to help Leonardo Jardim’s men return to winning ways after a 0-0 goalless draw with Toulouse on Saturday.
The attacker featured for the entire duration of the game along Senegal international Cheikh Ndoye who got a caution in the tie.
