Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has defended Daniele De Rossi after he was accused of racial abuse against Mario Mandzukic in Sunday's Serie A encounter with Juventus.
De Rossi has been accused of calling the Croatia international a "gypsy" during the Giallorossi's 1-0 defeat in Turin. But rather than censor the midfielder, Spalletti says he will instead teach the Italy international to avoid being caught on camera insulting opponents.
"He didn't cover his mouth [when talking to Mandzukic].
