Sounders move closer to matching MLS record with win over Dynamo

The Seattle Sounders moved one step closer to an MLS record on Monday night thanks to a lopsided win over the Houston Dynamo.

A Victor Rodriguez brace led the way while Will Bruin and Cristian Roldan also added goals as the Sounders cruised past the Houston Dynamo by a 4-1 scoreline.

With the victory, the Sounders moved closer to locking up a postseason berth while also extended the club's recent run to 11 wins from 13 matches.

The Sounders are aiming to now make the playoffs for 10 consecutive seasons, matching the MLS record set by the LA Galaxy during the team's run from 1996-2005.
