Everton defender Seamus Coleman was stretchered off during the Republic of Ireland’s clash with Wales in FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifying on Friday with a suspected broken leg, per The Sun.
The FAI Twitter feed confirmed the serious nature of the problem, which Coleman suffered after a reckless challenge from Welsh left-back Neil Taylor, who was subsequently sent off:
