Sanchez confident Espanyol will recover from bruising Sevilla defeat

Sevilla caused Espanyol all kinds of problems in their LaLiga clash on Saturday and the Budgerigars were eventually silenced 3-0 at home.

Vincenzo Montella’s men put up a commanding display as goals from Franco Vazquez, Pablo Sarabia and Luis Muriel handed them a rare victory at the RCDE Stadium.

The result meant Espanyol dropped to 14th in the standings, having bowed four times at home this season.

Despite this setback, captain Victor Sanchez – who was replaced after 46 minutes by Javi Fuego - is convinced that his side will bounce back from their loss though.
