The Galaxy will be without their starting right back for an extended period after the 29-year-old underwent ankle surgery.
LA Galaxy defender Robbie Rogers will miss six weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on Monday, the club has announced.
Rogers, who has played left back and right back for the Galaxy this season, has made 10 starts and 12 appearances in MLS action for the club in 2016.
The Galaxy sit in sixth place in the Western Conference, with a 5-3-6 record in 2016.
