Bendel Insurance and Enugu Rangers will have their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) rescheduled matchday 8 fixture take place on Thursday at the Sports Complex of the University of Benin.
The game was originally fixed for Wednesday at the same venue, but was boycotted by the match officials appointed to oversee the tie.
After an agreement was reached with the protesting referees, the League Management Company, organisers of the league, have scheduled the game for Thursday.
The rescheduled fixture will retain its original 16:00 kick-off time.
Speaking ahead of the game against the ‘Benin Arsenals’, the coach of the Flying Antelopes, Gbenga Ogunbote, assured that his team were ready but admitted that they would have preferred to play the rescheduled fixture at the original time.
