France star Kylian Mbappé reportedily will not take the pitch Friday against the Netherlands in his team's next Euro 2024 fixture, according to ESPN's Julien Laurens.
Mbappé was subbed off in the 90th minute of Monday's 1-0 win over Austria after suffering a broken nose.
The newly minted Real Madrid star has at least found the humor in his situation. He solicited ideas for protective masks in a post on X:
From a neutral standpoint, the clash between French and Dutch will be a lesser spectacle without Mbappé.
