Fernando Santos is confident Cristiano Ronaldo will be in peak condition for the upcoming European Championship.
Portugal coach Fernando Santos sees no reason to panic over Cristiano Ronaldo's fitness ahead of Euro 2016 and hopes the prolific forward can guide Real Madrid to Champions League glory.
The 31-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in the 3-0 win over Villarreal on April 20 and consequently missed the Liga games against Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad, as well as the first leg of the Champions League semifinal against Manchester City — which finished scoreless.
Ronaldo resumed squad training over the weekend, but there are still question marks over the severity of his injury.
