Paul the Octopus, who rose to prominence for his accurate football predictions, would have been eight years old today.
The "Tentacle Oracle" predicted the correct result of all but two of Germany's games during Euro 2008, failing to predict the defeats to Croatia and Spain. He then had a 100 percent record at the 2010 World Cup.
He died on Oct. 26, 2010, but today is about celebrating his birth.
