Nottingham Forest chairman confirms Bendtner deal

The Reds owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi has taken to Twitter to reveal the club has landed the striker, who will come up against former side Arsenal in the League Cup next month.

Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi has confirmed that the club has signed former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner on a two-year deal.

Bendtner, 28, had been without a club since his contract at Wolfsburg was terminated in April but has now sealed a return to English football.

The forward will come up against former paymaster Arsenal when the club travels to the City Ground to face Forest in the League Cup on Sept.
