The Bayern Munich star believes his former international team-mate can be a devastating force in Japan with his new club, Vissel Kobe
Lukas Podolski will be a major asset to Japanese football when he embarks on his J-League journey with Vissel Kobe, says German's former international team-mate Thomas Muller.
Podolski has joined the Japanese outfit after a two-year stint at Galatasaray, where he scored 20 Super Lig goals and also helped the Istanbul giants to a Turkish Cup triumph.
And Muller believes the 32-year-old’s devastating left foot and uplifting personality will be major assets to a league on the rise.
