Moussa Djenepo scored the goal in Standard Liege’s 1-0 victory over Sevilla in Thursday’s Europa League encounter at Stade Maurice Dufrasne.
The 20-year-old ended a 15-goal drought scoring an all-important strike that helped Michel Preud'homme’ men move closer to securing qualification to the round of 32 of the tournament.
After 62 minutes without a goal, the young striker who had earlier been cautioned in the tie broke the deadlock with Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez providing the assist.
Six minutes later Pablo Sarabia picked his second caution and was subsequently sent off as the home team held on to their lead.
