The Montreal Impact have added to their attacking options by signing the joint-top scorer from the 2013-14 Serie B campaign.
The Montreal Impact announced the signing of veteran striker Matteo Mancosu on loan Thursday, again turning to Serie A side Bologna in search of attacking prowess.
The Impact, who signed now-retired Italian star Marco Di Vaio from Bologna in 2012, have acquired Mancosu through June 2017. The 31-year-old scored two goals in 21 Serie A appearances for Bologna in 2015-16.
"We are happy to add another experienced striker to our roster," Impact technical director Adam Braz said in a news release.
