Mohamed magic back, Pumas declawed and more we learned from Liga MX Round 15

The Monterrey manager once again is leading a team that looks capable of lifting a trophy, while Paco Palencia's men were toothless.

The Liguilla is fast approaching, but the top eight saw surprisingly little movement this week.

We did see movement in the fight to avoid relegation as Veracruz moved off the foot of the table (see thing four) and put Morelia squarely on the hot seat, while Cruz Azul surprised Chivas with a 2-1 victory — too little, too late, for Paco Jemez's side to get into the postseason.

And despite the lack of changes in the upper portion of the table (see point five), we learned many more lessons from Jornada 15.
