The playmaker has inherited the jersey after the Colombia international completed a two-year loan switch to Bayern Munich
Luka Modric has taken the No.10 jersey at Real Madrid following James Rodriguez's loan move to Bayern Munich.
James, who moved to Bundesliga champions Bayern on a two-year loan deal earlier this month, had held the shirt since his move to Real from Monaco in 2014.
However, Real have now updated their website to reveal that Modric, 31, has inherited James' shirt, leaving behind his number 19 jersey.
The likes of Robinho and Mesut Ozil have donned the Real number 10 jersey in recent years with Modric the latest beneficiary of the lucrative number.
