The Scottish midfielder has spent his entire professional career with Hearts, and will now make the move to the MLS expansion side
Minnesota United has announced the signing of winger Sam Nicholson from Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish Premiership.
The 22-year-old made his senior debut for Hearts in the 2013-14 season and has gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club.
“We are really pleased to have added a player with the skill set of Sam,” head coach Adrian Heath said in a club release.
“He’s a player who can cut inside from either side of the pitch.
