The former Pumas and Real Madrid striker is considering ownership after filling many other roles during his long involvement with the sport.

Mexico legend Hugo Sanchez could be returning to direct involvement in the game, saying Tuesday night that he's spoken with Carlos Lopez Chargoy about buying Liga MX club Puebla.

Speaking on Futbol Picante, the former forward said ownership might be the next step for his involvement in the game, after a long career as a player, a stint as a coach and serving on FIFA's Football Committee alongside other former players.

"I directly told (Chargoy), who I already had the chance to meet with in Puebla when there was the chance that I would manage there before (Manuel) Lapuente, I met with Carlos Hugo Lopez Chargoy and we talked," he said.
