Struggles from the Liga MX managerial old guard in Round 13 show the need for Mexican soccer to develop new talent in the coaching box.

Several members of the Liga MX old guard were handed heavy defeats. Ricardo La Volpe, an Argentine who started managing in the Mexico in the '80s and directed Mexico at the 2006 World Cup, saw his Chiapas side allow five goals to Monterrey and score none.
