Messi shows off his 'new car' after €32 million Ferrari auction

The Argentine reportedly outbid Cristiano Ronaldo for a 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti - but he's mocked the claim on Instagram

Lionel Messi has revealed the €32 million ($36.3 million) car he reportedly won at an auction... and we think he may have paid a bit over the odds for it.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that the Barcelona star was the highest bidder in an auction for a 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti, which was driven by Sterling Moss in the Cuban Grand Prix in 1958.

The bidding started at €20 million and ended at €32 million - and while the winner has not been revealed, it was claimed that Messi was the man behind the purchase.
