Memphis makes Lyon debut after Manchester United switch

The Netherlands international was a late substitute for Mathieu Valbuena as the hosts picked up a comfortable win over Marseille

Memphis Depay has made his Lyon debut after leaving Manchester United for the Ligue 1 side.

The Netherlands international replaced Mathieu Valbuena on 79 minutes as his new side ran out 3-1 winners against Marseille at Stade des Lumieres.

Valbuena had earlier opened the scoring for the hosts who then doubled their lead through Alexandre Lacazette.

Doria then grabbed one back for Marseille before Lacazette struck again to secure all three points.

Memphis took to social media after the game to reveal his delight at featuring for his new side.
