Matteo Mancosu gets the Montreal Impact three points with solid turn and finish

The forward, starting in place of Didier Drogba, scored a highlight reel-worthy winner to net the Impact three points against Houston.

Matteo Mancosu did his best Didier Drogba impersonation Saturday night as his excellent turn and finish was the difference in the Montreal Impact’s 1-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo.

With Drogba suspended for a red card picked up in Montreal’s last match against D.C. United, the Impact turned to the 31-year-old Italian attacker, making just his first start after joining from Carpi this summer. And as Drogba has done so frequently for the Impact during his time with the team, Mancosu pulled his side to three points with a moment of brilliance.
