Rabbi Matondo is the latest young British player to be making waves in the Bundesliga as he looks to follow in the footsteps of former Manchester City team-mate Jadon Sancho.
The 18-year-old joined Schalke from City in January in a £10 million ($13m) transfer and he has been steadily making an impact for the Bundesliga club.
Reiss Nelson, Reece Oxford and, most notably, Sancho, who has lit up the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund this season and earned himself a regular spot in the full England squad, have set the tone for young British talent in Germany.
