An import spot could open up next week at Central Coast, while coach Paul Okon is targeting a rare win versus Melbourne City
Argentine youngster Facundo Alcacer continues to trial with Central Coast Mariners, who could open up an import spot next week.
Alcacer, 21, has been trialling in Gosford since January 9 in the hope of securing a contract with the Mariners for the rest of the A-League season as captain Nick Montgomery waits on his Australian citizenship.
When Montgomery becomes a citizen, Central Coast would be allowed to bring in another foreign player alongside Fabio Ferreira, Mickael Tavares, Jacques Faty and Roy O'Donovan.
