Roberto Mancini promised there is more to come from Inter next season as the penultimate game of another frustrating Serie A campaign ended in a 2-1 victory over Empoli on Saturday.
First-half goals from Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic - either side of a Manuel Pucciarelli equalizer - was enough for Inter to secure the points, and a fourth-placed finish, in its last match at San Siro this season.
