The former France international was named in the starting lineup, meaning the Gold Cup newcomers will likely have to forfeit the match
FIFA ruled Florent Malouda to be ineligible for the Gold Cup. On Tuesday night, French Guiana will start him anyway.
After not playing in the team's first match against Canada, the former France international was included in French Guiana's lineup for its second match of the tournament against Honduras in Houston.
Malouda, 37, was capped for France nearly 80 times and played in two World Cups. Despite being born in French Guiana, FIFA ruled him ineligible for the Gold Cup because of its rules against representing more than one country in official competitions.
