Roger Schmidt has made two changes to his team following their Europa League success on Thursday. The first swap sees Kevin Kampl come into midfield to face his former team, with Hakan Calhanoglu a surprising omission from the team. Up top, Javier Hernandez makes his welcome return from injury and should provide a nice boost to their attacking pedigree, partnering Stefan Kiessling, with Julian Brandt dropped to the bench. The goal for both teams is quite different, despite their proximity in the table. Leverkusen need the points to fend off the slew of teams chasing close behind for a Champions League place, while as little as a draw would see them reclaim third from Hertha, who played yesterday.
