Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has suffered a fractured metatarsal in his right foot, the club has confirmed.
The Germany international has been a regular for the Champions League holder under Zinedine Zidane, playing all 90 minutes of Madrid's last 11 games across all competitions.
But the former Bayern Munich player may not feature again in 2016 after tests carried out in his homeland revealed a fracture at the base of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
