Klose: Tuchel wanted me at Dortmund in 2015

The World Cup's all-time top scorer has admitted that he was offered a role at BVB by manager Thomas Tuchel, but chose to play on with Lazio

Former Germany international Miroslav Klose has revealed that Thomas Tuchel wanted to bring him to Borussia Dortmund in 2015.

The 38-year-old retired from his playing career in summer 2016 at Lazio, but could have returned to the Bundesliga a year earlier as Tuchel was interested in bringing him to BVB.

Klose scored 71 times for Germany in 131 appearances, winning the 2006 World Cup Golden Boot and finishing runner-up in 2002.
