Klopp named The Best FIFA Men’s Coach for the second time as Liverpool boss beats Flick and Bielsa to award

Jurgen Klopp has been named The Best FIFA Men’s Coach for the second time, with the Liverpool boss beating Hansi Flick and Marcelo Bielsa to the prestigious award.

Klopp received the most votes from fans, journalists, national team coaches and captains after leading Liverpool to their first league title in 30 years.

He picked up the accolade in Zurich on Thursday night, with pre-ceremony favourite Flick ultimately missing out despite masterminding Bayern Munich's run to Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB Cup glory last term.

Klopp also edged out Bielsa, who guided Leeds United back to the Premier League after a 16-year absence, and he was surprised to pick up the gong for a second consecutive year.
