The Kampala-based side will try their luck in the continent's second-tier competition after failing to beat the Angolan outfit
Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA) have dropped into the Caf Confederation Cup after drawing 1-1 with Petro Atletico de Luanda in a Champions League match on Friday.
Petro Atletico were the first side to register a goal in the first half before the Kampala-based side scored an equalizer in the second half at StarTimes Stadium.
Ricardo Estevao scored the visitors' goal before Mustafa Kizza equalised for the 13-times Ugandan league champions.
KCCA goalkeeper Charles Lukwago's timid clearance almost gave Petro Atletico a chance to open the score in the 10th minute.
