The Tottenham man will wear the armband when the Three Lions travel to Hampden Park for Saturday's World Cup qualifier
Tottenham attacker Harry Kane will serve as England captain for Saturday's World Cup qualifier in Scotland, Gareth Southgate confirmed.
Kane — who scored 35 goals for Totttenham during the 2016-17 season — will be making his debut under Southgate, and the manager showed his confidence in the striker by giving him the captain's armband for the crucial encounter.
We caught up with #ThreeLions boss @GarethSouthgate before we left Birmingham, and he was kind enough to reveal who'd be captain tomorrow.
