Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has signed a contract to become global head of soccer at Red Bull starting in January 2025.
Klopp, 57, left the Merseyside club at the end of the 2023-24 season after nearly nine years, stating that he was "running out of energy."
"After almost 25 years on the sideline, I could not be more excited to get involved in a project like this," Klopp said in a news release. "The role may have changed but my passion for football and the people who make the game what it is has not.
