North American FIFA 19 pro Joksan ‘Joksan’ Redona topped the first major FIFA 19 event after defeating Basel’s Tim ‘TheStrxnger' Katnawatos in the PlayStation Continental Cup final during Paris Games Week.
The Epsilon player was an underdog throughout the tournament but overcame the odds, outlasting some of the world’s best players including August ‘Agge’ Rosenmeier and reigning eWorld Cup champion Mossad ‘MSDossary’ Aldossary, who was shockingly eliminated in the first round of the knockout stage.
On top of the trophy, Joksan is also taking home €20,000, tickets to next year’s Champions League final in Madrid and a limited edition PlayStation 4 which was only given out to France’s World Cup winning squad.
