After six weeks of action in both MLS and the League of Ireland First Divison, the second in Ireland's pyramid, the leagues appear to be polar opposites.
While MLS is known for its pairity, and has just one undefeated team and only one team that has reached for wins, the LOI first division is so uneven that all but one team has a negative goal difference. Eight MLS teams have positive goal differences, five teams are even and seven have negative goal differences.
