Fabio Quagliarella has revealed he was forced to quit Napoli in 2010 because he and his family were being stalked during his time at the club.
The striker, now at Sampdoria, has opened up about the issue after his stalker was recently jailed.
Quagliarella joined Napoli in 2009 and scored 11 goals in all competitions during his only season at the Stadio San Paolo before joining Juventus a year later.
And the 34-year-old has now revealed he was “very happy” in Naples but he and his family were driven away due to their stalker hell.
