Seattle Sounders new signing, Kim Ki-Hee revealed that former teammate Obafemi Martins played a huge role in his move from Shanghai Shehnua.
The defender who joined the Rave Green on Tuesday has credited the former Sounders goalscoring machine's talks about the Major League Soccer outfit for his decision to swap China for the United States of America.
“[Martins] talked about a lot of fans in Seattle. That’s what made me want to come here,” Ki-Hee told the club website.

Martins was in action on Friday as Shanghai Shenhua began their 2018 Chinese Super League season with a 1-1 draw against Changchun Yatai.
