Ghana defender Kasim Nuhu Adams has picked Senegal in addition to the Black Stars as his top two favourites for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Egypt.
The two nations are among the 24 contenders going for gold at the June 21 - July 19 championship.
While Kwesi Appiah's outfit will be chasing their fifth title, the Teranga Lions are eyeing a first, their best performance remaining a second-placed finish at Mali 2002.
"Since I’m Ghanaian, I obviously want Ghana to win [the Cup] but if I had to pick any other team, I’ll choose Senegal because they have so many good players and young guys who are playing in Europe," Adams, who plays club football for German side Hoffenheim, told Footballmadeinghana.
