Christine Sinclair headlines the squad that will compete in Group F at the Summer Olympics.
Canada Soccer has released the names of the 18 women that will make up its squad in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Veterans Christine Sinclair, Melissa Tancredi and Diana Matheson headline a team that will look to equal or better Canada's bronze medal performance in the 2012 tournament. Alongside the vets is a number of younger players who now make up a significant portion of the squad, including the likes of Kadeisha Buchanan, Ashley Lawrence and Jessie Fleming.
"We will have to be at our best in every match to progress through this Olympic tournament," Canada head coach John Herdman said in a statement.
