Former Nigeria international Abdul Sule lauds Luka Modric after winning the 2018 Fifa World Cup's Golden Ball award despite Croatia's 4-2 final loss to France at the Luzhniki Stadium.
The 32-year-old, having inspired the Fiery Ones to their first World Cup final in history before the defeat against Les Bleus in Moscow, was awarded named the tournament's MVP.
And the former Super Eagles forward has extolled the contributions of the Real Madrid midfield maestro, also, hailing the achievements of Zlatko Daliu0107's men.
"I think [Modric] deserved it and even more because he was the most outstanding player of the tournament," Sule told Goal.
