Hazard makes Belgium squad despite missing Real Madrid's La Liga openers

Eden Hazard has been named in the Belgium squad for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against San Marino and Scotland.

Hazard joined Real Madrid in June, signing a five-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu after Chelsea agreed to sell their prized asset.

Madrid were dealt a blow on the eve of their La Liga opener against Celta Vigo though, when it was confirmed Hazard had sustained a thigh injury.

The 28-year-old has missed Madrid's opening two fixtures, though is reportedly in contention to make his La Liga bow against Villarreal on Sunday, and any injury concerns have not stopped Roberto Martinez naming Hazard in Belgium's squad for their upcoming qualifiers.
